Koen Poppe studied Financial Law at the Radboud University in Nijmegen. In addition to his studies, he volunteered at the Gennep law and discrimination clinic. Furthermore, he chaired a committee that organized a symposium on LegalTech. He is now working at Hart advocaten as a lawyer.
