Gijs Molkenboer studied at the University of Utrecht and obtained his doctorate in law at this university. He has extensive experience in the field of supervisory law and has worked for a well-known Dutch bank and insurance company and its successors for 20 years, in various legal management functions. He has particular expertise in insurance law, enforcement law and litigation.
In addition to practicing law, Gijs Molkenboer is assistant professor at the University of Amsterdam, editor of legal journals and member of the dispute body pension funds (Geschilleninstantie Pensioenfondsen (GIP))
Gijs is member of the association for financial law (Vereniging voor Financieel Recht).
